Give Yourself a Relaxing Foot Spa

How To Give Yourself a Relaxing Foot Spa:

There is nothing better than a pedicure, your feet feeling soft, smooth and toes ready for sandals. I am always surprised how little treatment can make me feel. I wonder why not take better care of ourselves at home.

How many times have you relax on the sofa to watch Grey or CSI? The next time your favorite program is on, enjoy a foot bath at the same time! I promise you will not regret. This will prolong their visits pedicure and save money. Do as I do sometimes and take your spouse or roommate not to be missed Happy Feet.

Soak your feet in warm water for at least 15 minutes.

It's time to sit back and say "aah".You can use any bowl or dish that fits your feet, use a bath flat white that I picked up at the dollar store. To help reduce swelling in the feet and ankles, add a quarter cup or two of Epsom salts in water or splurge on a great foot soak. Twirl around your fingers until it dissolves. Although it may not be able to say, your feet will thank you.

Exfoliate your skin, concentrating on the calluses.

This is the time you really want to focus. There are many different options when it comes to peeling tools. Use a wet pumice stone or foot file to scrub the entire foot. Everyone has areas that have been filed down, so really take your time. Using a foot scrub removes dead skin, ten times easier to shoot. Rub the leg wash the feet to get basic information and then rub the scrub all over your streets with more than a foot file. When you've finished washing, rinse and dry feet.

Moisturize with an intense moisturizer.

You can use your favorite cream or something explicitly feet. I like to use peppermint water on his feet, especially after soaking in warm water. cooling peppermint are feeling lasts long after the soaking. Make sure you're not only moisturize your feet, ankles and feet, but with.

Paint your toenails.

An optional step, of course. Any person may withdraw bright colors on their toenails, even if they are clearly (or not) on your nails. OPI always crack me the names of their colors. If you can not decide, check two of my favorites: Mauve-Lous Memories and barbecue O'Leary.

Secret to super-soft feet

Dry, cracked feet are not sexy. Although this tends to be a danger for the summer, you can spend all year. If you can not afford a fish pedicure, get rid of dry heel syndrome with this five-step process that vain and use from time to time.
Because it is a process step 3 (the foot soak, foot massage and mask and night), you can skip parts of this process, if desired. If you use the mask to foot every night for a week, their problems must be resolved.

  1. Soak feet for 5-10 minutes in a warm foot bath made with 1 cup milk and 5 cups warm water.
  2. Create a homemade foot scrub by putting 4 tablespoons salt or sugar in 1/2 cup oil. Baby oil, sweet almond oil or coconut oil or even vegetable oil works well.
  3. Massage the homemade foot scrub in a circular motion into bottoms of feet.
  4. Scrub bottoms of feet with the pumice stone. Rinse and dry feet.
  5. Before you go to bed that night, try this tip from beauty guru Paula Begoun: rub a Stridex pad over dry areas of feet. Stridex, a product found in the acne section of any drugstore, contains 2 percent salicylic acid so it's a great exfoliant for the feet.
  6. Apply moisturizer thickly on feet (do not wash off Stridex). A super-rich moisturizer like cocoa butter, Eucerin (my favorite) or even Vaseline works best.
  7. Pull on socks and keep them on throughout the night for at least 4 hours.

What You Need:

  • 1 cup milk
  • Sugar or salt (either will work)
  • Baby oil, sweet almond oil or coconut oil
  • Pumice stone
  • Stridex, found in the acne section of any drugstore
  • Thick moisturizer
  • Socks
